5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty Saucettes
Saucettes are the tastiest product that Worthington makes. They are my most favorite vegetarian snack and my dog goes crazy over them too.

2.0 out of 5 stars Saucettes are OK
After reading the reviews on this site, I purchased a whole case of Saucettes off of Amazon.com. I was a little dissapointed. I was expecting them to taste just like the frozen Morning star Farms links. But, the flavor was MUCH milder than them, and I was dissapointed. They have the same flavor, but are not as spicy nor as flavorful. I tried breaking them up and using...

I am so glad i bought a case of these! These veg sausages have now become my tastiest and favorite veg meat alternative.
Unlike the other worthington offerings i have tried which dont really taste like the real meat comparison, these delicious veggie sauseges VERY CLOSELY taste like the real thing.
They have a great smokey flavor and just the right amount of mild spicey seasoning.
I suggest NOT to microwave..these definitly need to be pan fried and you will be pleased with the taste and texture of these delicious links.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

These work well grilled as sausages in scant oil, roasted over coals or campfire, cut up and put into many recipes. They can be made into good corn dogs too. I think they are the best canned veggie dog with Worthington Super Links in second place. The liquid the sausages are packed in makes good stock for soup or gravy.

Vegetarian food can be difficult to get. These are great dipped in egg and Italian bread crumbs, then crispy fried.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!!, November 18, 2006

Saucettes are very tasty, whether you eat meat or not. They are most delicious fried in a pan, but also good microwaved. Our kids love them. Fake meat in a can -- who knew?

I'm not a vegetarian so I was some what skeptical of all the good reviews for Worthington saucettes but I finally decided to order to try them out.
At first out of the can they appear as greyish hotdogs -not very appealing. After cooking they brown nicely and look more like real sausage links.
The texture and outer skin are nice and very close to real sausage links. In my opinion they taste better than some brands of the real sausage links, a nice soft flavor thats not too over powering or spicy.
Its amazing these are made with no harm to piggys.^^
I'm pleased with my purchase...

These are my favorite vegetarian breakfast link. They have a wonderful mild flavor but are not bland. Its too bad they can't be bought everywhere.

that's my hubby's farvorite... I'm still undecided between linketts and saucettes. They are both great, but very different! Fried for breakfast is the best!

This item is a practical staple for the vegetarian. Its uses are many, limited only by the creativity of the user. A must have for adding protein to the diet.

I bought a case of these because even though I'm a Morningstar Farms fan, their products are getting much too expensive.
I've eaten Worthington products in the past, and really liked them. Saucettes are no exception. They taste great! And they're easy to prepare - I just brown them in a little oil and warm them up in the microwave during the week.
