Does Not Work!,
This review is from: Worx WA4053 Leaf Collection System For WG500 TriVac (Lawn & Patio)
My brother is a mechanic with 31 years of experience. Even using some add-ons like bungee cords, we could not get this to work. The fabric top kept blowing off the trash can. Don't waste your money! It's a great idea that needs to be taken back to the drawing board. Wish I could give this purchase no stars. I am so so so disappointed. I wanted this to work!

Worx leaf collection system,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Worx WA4053 Leaf Collection System For WG500 TriVac (Lawn & Patio)
This Worx leaf collection system needs to go back to the drawing board, first if you put this top over a garbage can the pressure from the Worx blower in the vacuum mode will just blow this top off the can ......in essence it's worthless, it would be nice to see a video detailing how this leaf collection system is supposed to work as the video that is shown on TV only shows a fraction of a second this system being used, let's see it being attached to a trash can and actually being used, this seems to be a great way to clean up a yard from leaves but let's show this product a bit clearer. I would save my money or find another way to use the hose supplied with this product.

Just a tip for keeping Collection System on Trash Can,
By Ron Ruble (Dunnellon, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Worx WA4053 Leaf Collection System For WG500 TriVac (Lawn & Patio)
I just bought this system for my Dad for Christmas - Both the blower/vacuum and the collection system to adapt it to the Trash Can. I read before purchase - and heard from an Uncle who had already bought the full system who confirmed - the problems with keeping the cover on the trash can when using the Leaf Collection System. There are tips for making cuts in the cans used - but these have apparently met with varied success.I read a review on a VERY similar system made by another manufacturer - who experienced exactly the same problems with the same type of can attachments - who solved his problems by making 4 small slits at 90 degree intervals in the canvas tops for the trash cans - thus allowing the excessive air pressure to escape the can without blowing the mulched leaves out of the small cuts in the cover. It would stand to reason that the same solution would work on the WORX products - although I would only recommend attempting it once you are outside of the warranty period - as I am SURE such a modification would void your warranty. Another idea - guaranteed to work - would be sewing small squares of screen material into holes (say 3x3 or 4x4) of the same size cut into the covers that fit over the trash cans. This solution would guarantee allowing the escape of the excess air pressure that builds to blow the cover off the can - while also ensuring that no mulched leaves escape through the pressure relief holes that make up the pressure relief holes..?? I KNOW I'll find a solution to this problem - the product is too fantastic to give up on (when dealing with 1/2 acres of 6-12" Sycamore leaves shedding over a 4 month period) over such a small issue - when the issue HAS to have an easily resolved solution... ;-)
