Even More Vast Is A Fantastic But Overlooked Italian Goth Band, January 8, 2009

"Would You Believe" that this Evan More Vast CD is on a par with the best music created by The Cure and especially Siouxie & The Banshees. Great female vocalist with shimmering guitar players, stellar bass, drums and atmospheric keyboards. This unheralded Italian band is now reaching their zenith with a gothic sound but with the progressive instrumentation of vintage Cure music. Their rendition of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is sterling. Lead vocalist Antonietta Scilipoti is wonderful and she is accompanied by two refined guitarists. She plays the cool Keyboard parts. Even More Vast is a really good band and "Would You Believe" is a magnificent CD.
