My friend John,
By "generalbob" (Kenosha, WI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wounded Soldier (Paperback)
I have known John Steer for many years. I know him as a man who is deeply religious, but not above a good time, a man who would give the shirt off his back (and has) for a fellow veteran, the best possible kind of friend. After reading his book I better understand what made John the man that he is. Excellent reading.

Christ's Soldier,
This review is from: Wounded Soldier (Paperback)
It has been a privilege to know John Steer and his wonderful wife Donna. John has served Christ and his fellow Veterans, above and beyond the call, for many years now. There aren't too many who would do what John has so selflessly done. I am very thankful and feel blessed to have an American hero like John Steer traveling amongst us and working to save the lost. Go Herd! I also warms my heart to know that a hero of mine has such a great woman watching his back. This is a fantastic book that chronicles the change in the heart of a soldier that occured on a hill in Vietnam, a hill he should never have come off of alive.

A Blessed Servant,
This review is from: Wounded Soldier (Paperback)
I've been friends with John Steer for 21 years. What a blessed and dedicted hero of and for our veterans. John travels 60k+ miles a year touching people in a way that is hard to explain. The book is a gift to all and is an education for those that never served, and an inspiration for those that did serve. Thank You my friend for sharing your life with the world. Randy |
