This book is eminently clear, concise, and useful. I feel so much more confident handling lacerations, wounds, burns, and even rabies prophylaxis in the Fast Track and urgent-care settings. I recommend this to all medical students, residents, and practicing physicians desiring a practical reference. Thanks to Dr. Trott and Mosby publishing for putting this book together!

a good book, to learn the basic of wounds, sutures...

This is hands down the best wound book I have found. It has all of the latest research data plus indepth proceedure guides.

A must for medical students and residents. This book covers virtually all possible wounds. A must own.

This was overly priced for it's content. I bought it for a NP class and did not find it that helpful.

As an ER resident, I found this book to be exceptionally useful. It describes in detail every aspect of wound and laceration repair, including more complicated techniques and special areas of the body. It includes many illustrations, although many are not in full color. I would strongly suggest this book for anyone wishing to impress with their skills and knowledge regarding such an important topic.

great introduction to laceration repair. definitely goes beyond how to tie knots and basic suture types. as a med student we were taught kind of the basics of suturing but this book takes it to the next level. definitely helped provide me the knowledge to repair some of the irregular shaped complex lacs.

This is a great book that has helped me a lot to learn how to handle many situations during my work at the emergency department.
