4.0 out of 5 stars Very good advice and tips on making it in the business world
The author has good advice and examples of what--and what not--to do in business situations. Most of it seems common-sense to me, but apparently many others need the information or she wouldn't have put it in the book.

I liked the tone of the writing: down-to-business and "real"--there's no condescension involved, and in today's job market, that's what we...

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing to WOW about!
Where is the beef? Beyond the cute "title", this book lacks content or any significant ground breaking insights on how to WOW people!. I guess you can still wow some people who have low standards. Where is the beef? Beyond the cute "title", this book lacks content or any significant ground breaking insights on how to WOW people!. I guess you can still wow some people who have low standards. If you follow the author's advice, she recommends that before an interview make sure you "take a shower", "research the company", and of course, my favorites..."Wash your hair and clean your nails", "don't chew gum", "don't have headphones in your ears during the interview!"
As you can see, the author has tons of advice, I can't say I disagree with it!...However, I'm afraid that to really wow high achieving people you will need more than what this book provides.

I'll probably read this again and again, and have my teens read it as well--if I can get them to do so. All in all, a good book for a good price if you get it on AMAZON.
