I just bought WOW TWIST, and all I can say is, wow. (twist). I was completely floored by what I heard. This is by far the most actualizing DAT Politics album to date; whereas Plugs Plus and Go Pets Go were half-artistic, half-poppy surreal masterpieces of lost files and circuits, and Tracto Flirt was a more subtle and abstract LP, this album is the most popalicious, danceable, utterly weird and (in)coherent record to date. Anyone who thinks music has to be serious will hate this. I had a friend who was big into industrial who thought this was the worst thing he'd ever heard. Who says music can't be about having fun and oversampling? Wow Twist is a dadaist manifesto; a masturbatory electronic fantasy in a world of laptops with more love to go around than a Daft Punk single. Take my advice and check out this one; you won't regret it.
