My 6 Year Old desperately wanted a "Flying Butterfly" for Christmas but didn't really have any idea if there was such a thing.

After some research, I found this product on-line and purchased it for her.

It was a bit pricey at $35.00, but it really does fly, admittedly for short ditances and in circles around the room.

It is billed as being for indoor and outdoor use, but it is a little fragile, so I'd be careful letting a child use it outside.

All in all she was really happy with it and has had fun, but there is one slight drawback in that it is a liitle tricky for little ones to get the hang of charging/launching it.

You have to pull back on a spring mechanism and then it has to be snapped onto the pistol-grip base. Then the trigger is held in halfway while the wings flap slowly to charge up, then you have to pull the trigger the rest of the way to release it and watch it fly. If you release the trigger while its charging, the wings will flap rapidly because it "thinks" it has been launched. This seems to confuse little ones.

Overall all it is a fun toy, but it is expensive and expect to help smaller children while using it.

My child and I had an awsome time playing with this. It is a little flimsy so be careful.

The toy is pretty but too delicate and after you see it fly 3 or 4 times there is nothing more to do. Kids got bored with it fast. I did too. I really regret spending the money on it and had I bought it at a place like Walmart I would have returned it. Be careful purchasing thing online. Returning them Is not a realistically easy option.
