The Wow Wee Alive Cub is a huggable and life-like cub who needs to be adopted and taken home. With super-soft fur and a totally realistic look, this cuddly pup gives little seal lovers a totally true-to-life experience. When you give him love and attention, he comes alive! Activate the Alive Pup's sensors when you pet him. Once activated he will open and close his eyes and mouth and make realistic animal sounds, just like a real pup. Pick him up by the scruff of the neck and watch his legs with go limp, just like a real pup being carried by his mother! Leave the Alive Pup alone for five minutes and he will enter Sleep Mode. He will then snore for five minutes before powering down. Each pup includes an adoption certificate. Requires 4 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 16" long.

Just bought a second of these after my son accidentally left his behind at a hotel. He doesn't play with it a lot, but obviously he likes it since he wanted another one. The first one, which we bought more than a year ago, was anything but cuddly. The fur was soft, but you could feel the plastic housing right under the surface. Not a toy I'd want to snuggle with. The one we just received seems to have an updated design with more stuffing, making it better as a stuffed animal.

This seal pup is my son't favorite toy. Even a year later he takes this on every camping trip or nights at grandma's. Still works perfect and fur cleans up amazingly well for being totally white! highly recomment to anyone with an animal loving child. My son has even taken to researching about seals so he knows more about his 'baby'.

Don't believe what you read..."With super-soft fur and a totally realistic look" "huggable"....It looks awful...nothing like the picture...doesn't have the big bright eyes lucky if you can see them behind the fur...guess that is what $20 will get you these days...hopefully my 5-year-old will love it anyway...
