I bought an older Robo sapien at a thrift store for $2.99- but it did not come with a remote. i knew there were "hacks" that i could use to make it work, so i wasn't worried. then i found out about this cool universal remote, and got one. it is Awesome- gives you the ability to easily program whatever wowWee Robo you have to do a sequence of moves,sounds,etc. super fun.

I use mine as an infrared interface, rather than a remote, so I can control my robots via the computer. It works great as a USB interface. Commands are met by instant response of the robot. The robo remote software can be programmed, to make robots perform a series of tasks, simultaneously, or repeatedly. Runs on USB so no external power is required.
Great and durable remote. |
