My kids love this but the songs that come already on the microphone aren't well-known. I attempted to download songs from my iTunes library using the Paper Jamz app but it would never recognize the mic. Getting support for the mic from WowWee is a continuous loop that keeps sending you in circles. You have to submit a request for help and then you get a message saying they will get back to you in 5 days. Not very helpful when you have kids that want to play with the item NOW.

This is a wonderful thing. It makes even my croaky, off tune voice sound good. Lots of fun. I did have some problems loading the app into Windows 7 from the device, so I went to the Paper Jamz website and downloaded from there with no problems. After that, putting new songs into it from my music Library was just a matter of drag and drop. Very easy. I didn't try loading anything from my iTunes library, so I don't know if that would be a problem.
Software and hardward ie very sophisticated for the price.
No, it's not a professional sound system and has some feedback and distortion problems but for under $20 it's a bargain.

As one of the many who had the teenage dream of being a rock star, I'm always willing to find new ways to support the dream in the next generation. The paper jamz microphone is just such an item, with a lot of technology packed into the lightweight paper; the thing has Auto-tune built in for crying out loud. A couple of my younger cousins got them a bit ago, and had their own little karaoke party.
Adding songs they knew took a little doing, just with having to load the application on a computer, but the overall process was pretty fast.

Grandchildren had a blast with Mic
My grandchildren played with the Mic during Christmas and had fun projecting their voices. They are ages six and five years. It was fun watching them perform.
