If you own a Jeep JK (2007-current) this book is not for you. They are trying to cram 21 years of Jeep knowledge into a very small book. Buy the Chrysler Service Manual CD. I kept the book, but I doubt I will ever use it as a reference. There is so little Jeep JK information that it's pretty worthless for a JK owner. TJ and YJ owners may find it much more useful.

Don't expect a lot from this book. I have a 2006 Wrangler Unlimited. This manual pales in comparison to my Chilton books for other vehicles. Specifically this Haynes manual does not have many of the torque specifications I need when working on my Jeep and when they do have them you have to reference a different section. One of the ways they saved space and crammed all these model years into one thin book was to reference different sections on procedures when that procedure is critical to what you are doing now, resulting in having to look in multiple parts of the books for specifics. When it comes to specifics, forget about it. I've seen on more than one occasion where the detailed instructions say "remove the part," followed by "reinstall the part." No how to or torque specs at all. I've gotten more use out of my Chilton for Cherokee's when working on my Wrangler than this book. The only reason I've kept this Haynes manual is this is all that's available unless you can find a factory repair manual.

I bought this book because I have a 2008 Jeep Wangler. This book mainly covered older editions of the Jeep Wrangler. I sent it back.

Bought this book for my YJ. The book covers to broad of a range to be accurate (1987-2008). Photos are grainy and hard to see detail. Haynes used to be on the top of the list for repair manuals, this one just doesn't do it. Haynes should be ashamed to sell such a product. They could have at least released a manual for each style (YJ, TJ, JK, etc.) instead of trying to encompass all of them.

Quality not quantity would have been nice.

This manual has almost everything you need to know to tear down your Jeep and put it all back together. With the help of the manual. I was able to take apart my 2.5L motor and put it back together with new parts. This was my first engine rebuild and it went prettly flawlessly thanks to the Haynes manual.

This is an OK book. Don't think you are going to be able to tear a Jeep a part and rebuild it with the info in this book. It's good for an overview or looking up to see what a part is and give you an idea of how it is installed. I say an idea because this book covers too many years to give any real detail. ie there are very few pictures. But it is good to get you familiar with your Jeep. I wouldn't recommend it to a fried, but I might borrow them mine.

Not much detail. Terrible photographs. It's not what I would write. Hate to beat up the book, but don't buy.

The product got to my home not three days after I ordered it. WAY before I was expecting the book to get there. It was brand new and in the plastic packaging. I am happy with the product and the company. I recommend it to anyone.
