3.0 out of 5 stars Okay - not sure how well on the long term
Well I have been wearing Carhartt jeans now for a few years. I seem to be going through them quickly though (6 months or so per pair) So I looked for a cheaper solution. Decided on these. I used to only wear wranglers. These though seem very cheap and I dont expect them to hold up long at all. They are very tight fitting (expected because of the cowboy cut, but I ordered...

(REAL NAME)
i use to wear whatever kind of jeans i picked off a rack. whatever looked good. i remember being a teenager making fun of my guy friends because they wore skin tight wranglers. later on in life (like them) i found myself in industrial work. one day when out to check on some tomato plants i saw a shelf of wranglers at my local co op. for some reason and i dont know why i bought a pair. i wore them for "a day" and i was back in the store for a second pair. now im not your typical wrangler customer. until i started wearing wranglers i was all about baggy pants and wrinkled old band tees. those pairs of wranglers i bought that day are getting up in age but still look amazing. no holes, a bit comfier now (unless you buy them pre washed the cowboy cuts are a tad stiff when you first purchase them) and id wear them everyday of the year if they werent so tight threaded (i live in the deep south where it gets very hot in the summer, wranglers can get very hot in hot weather because they are thick <or more so strong>. that is my strait up and honest review on the jeans. when i want a good pair of jeans, i go for a pair of wranglers. i wear levis too but they are not good work jeans when you are working in a industrial job or in the labor force for that its a no substitution wranglers all the way cowboy cut original fit.
PLUS levis cut down in the number of belt loops in the past couple of years. but wrangler still has the full set.
theres a reason that wranglers have a one year warranty but they last sooo much longer than that. these are jeans that last. i just bought pair number 3 today. its not that any of them have worn out. i just cant stop wearing em.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay - not sure how well on the long term, September 26, 2011

Well I have been wearing Carhartt jeans now for a few years. I seem to be going through them quickly though (6 months or so per pair) So I looked for a cheaper solution. Decided on these. I used to only wear wranglers. These though seem very cheap and I dont expect them to hold up long at all. They are very tight fitting (expected because of the cowboy cut, but I ordered 2 sizes larger than I normally wear and they are still tight). The belt loops seem to only have a single row of stitching unlike a web or X shape I am used to. When I walk my rotts alot of times I clip their leash on my belt loop, but I wont be doing it with these jeans. I am very hard on my jeans but I would suggest spending a little more and just go with the Carhartt. (Like $4 more) I will update the next time I buy a pair either way....

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality and value, May 24, 2008
I ordered this type of jean because I needed something slimmer through the hips. These jeans fit really well. The color is good. The weight of the denim is good. And...they wash and dry really well-no puckered seams or deep wrinkles. Very pleased with these jeans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wrangler Jeans, January 30, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Alrighty, long story short, brother in law goes thru jeans FAST as he insists on buying cheapies and as a mechanic thats not a good idea. These are standing up longer than ANY other, alittle bit more in cost but I think they will do well,by now the others he bought would be shredded ripped or the like by now, other than light fading after laundry these are still thick and tough so would recommend these to people who do hard work on a daily basis.

My husband (a cowboy) is hard to fit and to find jeans that he likes. I bought one pair of these as a test. He likes them and they look good. I ordered 2 more pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, prewashed, June 16, 2011

These jeans are GREAT, prewashed, so after first wash, they are still soft. Un prewashed jeans are just to hard after first washing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Fit, December 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I like these original fit jeans. I'm tired of the baggy and baggier jeans that seem to be the only ones available for the big and tall (and I am both): just because I'm 6'5" and 300lbs doesn't mean I also have thighs as big around as my waist. The Wranglers have also lasted much longer than any other brands I've owned. I'm an active guy, and I've destroyed Levis and different store brand jeans in a matter of a few months. The Wranglers keep going.
