If you are used to Levi's or the regular Wrangler jeans, here's some help in choosing a the right fit for this. This jean is the "slim" version of classic Cowboy Cut jean that Wrangler has been making since 1947. Among the Levi's jeans, the fit of this jeans is most similar to that of the Levi's 512,but it is cut slimmer in the seat. It doesn't have as much orange stitching as a Levi's, the back pockets sit higher. It has a zipper fly. The so-called "rigid denim" looks a lot like the "shrink to fit" rigid denim of the Levi's button fly 501 when new and will lose a lot of indigo dye on the first wash, but that's where the resemblance ends. The 501 shrinks about 10%, but the Wrangler shrinks less than 3%, because it is Sanforized. So, you should buy your correct size, erring on the side of slightly larger if you are right on the border. The the really neat thing about the Wrangler is that they still have copper rivets on the back pockets, something Levi's stop doing generations ago when schools complained that the rivets scratched the wood desk chairs the school kids used to sit in!

Compared to the regular the Wrangler Cowboy Cut, the this slim Fit is quite a bit skimpier. The slim fit seat is smaller and the legs are pretty trim--it's more of a boy's cut. If you are really on the thin side, it may work for you, but many men will find it too constricting in the waist and seat.

Wranglers stonewash finishes are pretty mainstream compared to some of the more exotic things Levi's is doing now. These definitely are not so-called "destructed" jeans. You won't find whiskering or abrasion the way you will on the stonewash Levi's.

Overall, these are very solid well-made jeans that offer a nice alternative to the more popular Levi's models. Like Levi's, they are well made and indestructible.

I'll admit, I'm 28 years old and very skinny so I can wear these. Compared to the baggy hip hop jeans and the relaxed fit jeans that middle-aged pale skinned office workers wear these are the anti-Christ. But dang does my posterior look good! Warning do not attempt to wear with your loose boxers, briefs, form fitting boxer briefs, or a thong is a must.

I bought these for my husband. He is hard to shop for because of the odd sizes he needs for a good fit. These jeans fit him perfectly and he says they are very comfortable. The jeans shipped fast and arrived in good shape. I would highly recommend these jeans for anyone needing good well made jeans at a decent price.

These are so far superior to Levis it makes me laugh. Sorry for all you button fly lovers. But Levis can't compare. Period-Paragraph.

These are not the `seconds' or cheap versions you get at the bargain stores. These are not the cheap thin rough feeling sandpaper versions of Wranglers you can get at local Wal-Mart or Target.

These are the real deal. These are a heavy, thick but perfectly stone-washed to a ultra soft finish and perfect faded shade. The thickness is what makes these the best.

I probably have twenty-five or so pairs of GOOD jeans. These are the best of the best.

These are thick, durable, but incredibly soft to the touch and if I said the best fit of all the brands I would be understating this fact by miles. The other brands like Levi's, Lee, or any of the other hilariously crappy `designer' jeans that are out there today are simply not in the same class. None of those even come close in fit, comfort, or finish. Those others should not even be put in the same category of "Quality Jeans" that these are as far as fit, durability, and comfort are concerned. These are perfect and are the standard by which you should judge all the others.

I do warn you, if you are not slim buy the regular sized versions. The slim is slim. Very slim but they fit like a glove of you are slim. I am in between and can wear either version with just as much comfort.

The seams on these are finished like no other. The inside edges of the seems are feathered so they feel like they are not even there. The rivets are all perfectly placed and solid brass and well finished. They are not the fake cheap reverse button type of rivets found on Levi's 501's or 505's. Even the brand patch on the back pocket is thick and sewn in to stay in. The zipper is heavy but fluid.

Again, these are the real deal. They are not your run of the mill $15.00 to $25.00 jeans you get at Target or other discount big-box stores. These are real working mans jeans.

They will not tear, wear through, or run but they feel like a second set of soft skin.

Buy them. They beat the pants off Levis. I promise.

These jeans fit my husband great. They are good for those lucky people who don't have much of a rear end and skinny legs. Regular fit jeans always look baggy thru the rear. The rigid blue jeans do take a number of washings before they are soft but it hasn't been annoying to him.

I work landscape construction which can be some of the most abusive work for your clothes.
These jeans stand up to everything and look darn good worn in and faded from the wash.
I've had my first pair going on three years, and my co-worker who wears the same ones most every day has had them for almost four.

Great jeans. Not just the fit but the quality. These actually hold up to wear including for riding which just chews up cheap jeans. (these are not the thin-junk that Walmart sells under the wrangler name-shame wrangler)

It is with some embarrassment that I admit that I outgrew this style for a couple years but I am back in the saddle and not turning back. No better incentive for staying thin than a woman telling you your bottom looks great! If you are thin enough grab a pair and set yourself apart from the cubicle cream puffs.

I bought these for my brother who has slim legs, but the jeans were super slim, however, I had no problem sending them back for a refund. I just recommend ensuring that the person who you buy them for, be it yourself or someone else, that they are really, really thin...

Haven worn Levi's 501s my whole life, and for the past 30 years or so having a hard time finding ones that fit well, I decided to try Wrangler Cowboy Cut Slim Fit. These are the best jeans I've ever worn. I have a 30 inch waist, but the size 30s were a little snug. So I went with the 31x32 and they fit great. I'd highly recommend these jeans for anyone with a slim/slender body and who hate the saggy seat fit of most other jeans.

These are the best fitting, best looking jeans. I like a tailor fit jean. Not a baggie jean. You need to be thin to wear them. They are awesome jeans.
