All my life I been buying Levi pants and jackets...but when I saw this jacket (half the price of Levi) and I read the positive reviews I thought I would give it a try. I am so happy I did! I am wearing it now by coincidence as I write this review. I am 5'10" 170 lbs, and I ordered a Medium and it fits great and looks great. I read reviews of the small chest pockets, and was surprised when my jacket came, I took a deck of cards and it fit in the chest pockets so they must have enlarged them by the time I purchased mine. The side pockets are very roomy and like the old Levi jackets, this one has the "inside" pockets which are large and well sewn (they are the the flip side of the outside pockets, but open from the top). Summary, this jacket is well made, and a steal at just under $40.

I can't speak to the feel if the sleeves (I cut the sleeves off for a punk vest) but the vest itself is comfortable. Deep pockets, with solid fabric that isn't too hot to wear (I live in Texas). It has been washed twice (once after paintballing for eight hours straight) and it hasn't faded or shrunk. The waist adjusters are essentially useless, but who really uses them? The finish on the stitching and buttons is solid, but not always terribly pretty. All in all, this jacket isn't for high fashion but it makes an excellent jacket to wear about town. Also, for any punks out there, this thing takes patches really well.

In attempts to save money Wrangler is cutting huge corners in the making of their very famous denim work jackets.

Cutting back on material used to make these jackets means inside pockets that are no longer useful in ranching and farming. Frnt pockets that are utterly useless, cannot get your hand in the pocket, let alone use it for something as small as a cell phone. Overall fit compromised because shortcuts taken to save on material used to make the jacket.

Calls to their customer service was useless. Reps apologized knowing that their products no longer meet the standards set by the company when it was created. No bean counters only care about putting money in the company coffers not about making a superior quality product on which the company originally was built!

Overall Wrangler no longer cares about the end user, even having third world nations make their products to shortchange Americans who built the company and wore their products for generations!

Shame on Wrangler and the people now running and ruining the company.

packaging, sale and shipping:
- as usual, Amazon is on point on these parameters. I received item sooner than expected, and at $37 with free shipping, it couldnt have gotten much better. Packaging was excellent as usual, and the ordered item was delivered in the appropriate size.

the item:
appearance/feel: this jacket is lovely; it's shade of blue is just as it appears in the picture, and the texture/fabric is amazingly thick and solid. I'll be buying another in a few!
sizing: it could literally have been made for me; I ordered a "large" and it sits snugly in the appropriate places - wrist, shoulders, waist.
cons:
- i have absolutely none related to me; however, I feel it might be helpful if I point out a few things about the sizing, particularly concerning the "large". My shirt size is L/16, 32-33; this jacket feels and sits on me like a 16/32-33; I wouldnt recommend this size for people who wear Large/16, 34-35 as you might find the arms too short. you may want to consider an XL, or perhaps the big and tall Large? This of course is just my own opinion, and it's possible you might be able to wing it! (i also cannot guarantee that either the big and tall L, or regular XL would be a better fit!)
conclusion:
this jacket is an absolute must have for all denim die hard fans! excellent product and service from both the maker and seller.

great denim jacket - whoever doesnt like it i want to tell them this - BUY MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCT, then you might be satisfied!!! :) 35 dollars is great price for this jacket!!! :)

i prefer ligher in color shades, this one is not bad, but the color certainly could be lighter (if the manufacturer is reading this, please make this future jacket lighter). Otherwise the fabric is soft but firm, it has enough pockets for me and the price is great!

simply a great denim jacket for spring & autum, even for summer if you wear it buttonned up :)

amazon service was great also, quick dispatch, high communications and i get the feeling i am respected and highly valued customer (i asked for a refund for overcharged amount because of VAT import taxes in my country and they responded within 3-4 hours and initiated the refund 2-3 hours after that - i call that quick service! :) - other shops take longer to do that and they ask you for proof etc, Not Amazon! :))

really satisfied both in amazon and in jacket manufaturer, but i have one recommendation, please give delivery choices, currently Amazon offers ONLY DHL service courier for purchases OUTSIDE the USA, which can be costly, we would love USPS, they have lower prices and some of us know their way around customs! :))

thx!

Purchased for my husband who is 6' 5" and 250 lbs. The last 2 Wrangler Jackets were
2 XL as we were unable to fine anything larger here. The sleeves were too short and the
waist was too high so I decided to go to Amazon and see if they had something for Tall men
and I found the perfect fit. XXL tall. Sleeves are perfect and waist is just right...he doesn't
look like he was poured into it or look like Baby Huey and has room to spare. What's even
better is he loves it as much as I do....Thank you Amazon for the right fit for large tall men!

I loved the feel and look, but I had to buy it about a size or two large and then wash it in warm water and dry it hot (until completely dry) to shrink it to a better fit, kind of in between sizes. I would also wash it when you get to get some of the dye out (Antique Indigo or very dark blue). For me, once i washed of the extra dye and shrunk it down a bit ~ it became a perfect jacket. I also had to do this with my first Wrangler denim jacket years and years ago so it's a tried and true method for all you in between 'sizers'.

This is a great jacket. The quality is the best. A nice thick denim. It's what I expect from Wrangler. I've owned many of their jackets over the years. I love them. I've owned Levi's too. The only jacket Levi's is offering now is a thin jacket called a trucker's jacket. Levi's had better up their game.... in my opinion. For now, I'm sticking with Wrangler. Their name still means quality.

I ordered 2X Big...was gonna order 3X but I'm only 5'6" so I decided against it.

THE JACKET WAS HUGE....I should have ordered an XL...But it's being altered so no worries. I love the material and the quality is exceptional.
I weigh 270lbs and wear 2X on a normal basis
