This book is everything I expected and more. I am a sewer of many years, not buying a lot of patterns but altering those I have. This book is fabulous and I am now getting my head around the fact that there is no need for me to sew if I use the right fabric. With some of the patterns I can choose to twin needle or cover-stitch. Great book great for me.

A book that truly Over Delivers,

When I picked this book up out of sheer curiosity, I expected the usual uses of bandanas and sarong fabrics - and that was indeed what you get in the first part of the book.
But when you get to the Advanced section, it's a whole new kettle of fish! I learned more about designing complex draped fashions with no seams, just strategic ties, just flipping through the book than I have in decades of sewing. Minimally worded, scaled patterns and drawings showing the garment as worn make it easy to see how the drapes are accomplished, as well as actually duplicate the garment. I hope this book is also released in e-book format. It's a keeper!
