The spirit of tenor sax, November 3, 2000
I like this album for melodiousness. And Hawk's soft and passionate soloes emphasize it. The interleaving of compositions gives the miraculous sensation of carnival. Hawk's short improvisations shine like a diamonds. All members of my family like this album regardless of age (5 - 65 years). I think it very good for romantic evening, old friends meeting or simply for rest. On my glance it have only one minus - insufficient liberty of sidemen. But this is may be a style requirement.
