Wreaths, although they have a long association with the holidays, are often made in the summer or fall, when raw materials are the most abundant. This book includes living wreaths and ones made from nonplant material. An introductory section describes basic materials, followed by the wreaths themselves, beautifully photographed in a variety of settings. All will make excellent holiday decorations. This book is similar in content to Ellen Spector Platt's The Ultimate Wreath Book (LJ 2/15/96); libraries owning Platt may choose to pass on this.

Although there are only a few illustrations that actually show the various stages of assembly, most of the projects should be possible for anyone willing to spend some time gathering together the tools and materials and then getting busy with home decorations.
