Not that I have anything against Smitty, but where did this Grover Levy disappear to? "There's a life" and "If You Want to Lead Me to Jesus" are two of the best Christian pop songs I have ever heard, and the former is one of my favorite songs period. Solid throughout with several gems on each album, Grover Levy's two albums are a must. Every Christian music fan should have this, but admit it you dont, do you? Does that make me better than you? Yes, indeed it does, but you can bring yourself up to par by buying this album and "Wrestling Angels" too.

I love this CD. I am a Christian artist myself (Higher Ground Band) and this was one of the top 3 Christian pop albums of the 90's in my opinion. Grover buddy, where did go?.....

I agree with a few other reviewers and say that Grover is one of the better artists of the nineties and he disappeared faster than he ever should have.
The unsung song of this CD is Tell Us What We Want to Hear. The song has a great drive and is honest about how most people live their Christian walk. Part of Life is one of the best videos I've ever seen. I wish I could find a copy of that somewhere. If You Want to Lead Me To Jesus (which is the song most have heard) is a great lead off for the CD and gives you an idea of how much Grover can rock.

Hope He Does More,

I do not know where Mr. Levy gained his view of theology, but I am extremely impressed with it. Too often good musicians do not take time to mature in their understanding of God before they start producing Christian music. It is refreshing to hear someone that is not only an accomplished musician, but one that has obviously taken the time to know the subject matter about which he is trying to communicate. I hope Mr. Levy produces more.

Where do the great ones go???,

I have to start out saying that I 100% agree with Samuel Sarkis Krikorian's comments. Grover Levy is a great artist. In my opinion, far better songs have come from this brother than anything I've heard from Smith. And, like the former reviewer, nothing against Michael because I know he's an incredible artist and a fantastic composer, but while I appreciate his talent, I honestly don't listen to it that often. But I still crank my Levy album all the time. "Want To Lead Me To Jesus" and "Tell Us What We Want To Hear" are my favorites on this CD. Almost nobody today writes lyrics like this, with music that matches the emotions conveyed by those same lyrics. This is great stuff. LEVY WHERE ARE YOU MAN??? We desperately want more bro!!! :) With that sincere plea I will close and encourage everyone reading this to please buy this CD! You will not regret it at all. Even being several years old now, it still rocks and gets ya right there! ;) God bless....... LEVY??? DID YOU RECORD ANOTHER ALBUM YET??? I'M MAKING A LONG REVIEW ON PURPOSE TO GIVE YOU TIME... hehehe...
