Wrestling with Honor,
By Daniel S. Weber (IL, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wrestling With Honor (Hardcover)
I must say that this book is a classic in my mind. I am 22 years old now and I read this book when I was in 8th grade. Since the day I read it in 8th grade I wrote five book reports on it, the last of which I handed in my senior year of high which by that time some of the details of the book had been schewed in my mind, nonetheless a fabulous read. This is coming from a kid who read one book from cover to cover before he was 18 years old, this book was it. Since that time I have read over a hundred books and still think that wrestling with honor is a must read.

Pretty Good Book.,

I found it a very interesting book to read. It gives entertainment to the readers while they are reading. It is not an excellent book for wits and wisdom though. I think it would not be bad for anybody to read this book at least once.

I read this book when I was in seventh grade. Today, at law school, I still remember this as the first book that really interested me. Wrestling With Honor is one of those books that can be read over and over again just to put a smile on your face; I truly consider this book as one of my greatest hits.

Buy!!!! great book for mature audiances,
This review is from: Wrestling With Honor (Paperback)
In this book "Wrestling with Honor," the main character named Ron Woods; he is one of the best wrestlers in the area. He is also the captain of his high school wrestling team. During the book there is a problem. A drug test went wrong leaving him the chance that will determine his future. He will have to decide to retake the drug test, or he will not retake the test and end his wrestling career for ever. Who knows? The BOOK knows. I feel that this book is made for older and more mature audiences for it contains mature material.

Not What You Would Think From A Book About Wrestling,
By A Customer
This review is from: Wrestling With Honor (Hardcover)
The inner struggle of a high schooler with his morals and worrying about what everyone else will think. Not just a book about "wrestling" but truly what happens to everyday wrestlers. I am one, and i can relate.

The fiction book, Westling With Honor, by David Klass, is one of the best book i ever read.Ron Woods, who is possibly the most straightest kid in his highschool. He studies for hours a night, hets staight A's, has never tried smoking or drinking in his life and definitly has never tried marajuana before. Ron is the captian of the wrestling team and everyone knows that he wouldn't risk loosing that title to anything. One day after wrestling practice, the coach tells the team that there is a new rule for getting on the team this year. The school had a new required law of drug testing. Ron thought his rights were being violated and refused to take the test. Against his beliefs, he takes the test and it unexpectedly turns out positive. Everyone knew he was a straight kid and never did, tried or even thought about drugs before. The coach offered him a retest, but he refused and sid it was against his moral beliefs. You'll have to buy this book and find out for yourself what new and exciting event happens next!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Wrestling with Honor: 2 (Hardcover)
Was a good book. Gave a good understanding of Ron Woods and the ups and downs he had to deal with his senior year. Was a good read for someone who like reading about how people r able to deal with their problems and how they over come them. Would be a good book for a guy in highschool because im sure they could relate. A book about a wrestler and when he doesn't pass the drug test the things he has to do to suck up his pride so he able to wrestler against his rival igor. |
