Recommended for anyone who enjoys new ideas about God. I love the way Loder writes. Don't look for rhyming poetry. His poems and short stories show me God in new ways. I've read this book more than once and go back to favorite passages. I bought this one for a friend.

Although this book was published in 1991, it has the feel of the 1960's in its open approach to exploring spirituality, the path to grace, and ones relations to others and God. Through poems, songs (as somewhat different from poems), short fiction and non-fiction, the author examines relationships, integrity, resurrection moments, the unexplainable - and other topics, sometimes with perception and grace, sometimes with a mysteriousness that is difficult to fathom. Isn't that what all of us try to do in seeking out a relationship to God that is indeed difficult? This book will help you on the journey.

Rev. Loder always makes me think, reflect, pray about his writing. Sometimes I use the same poem for several days as the beginning of my meditation time.
