I bought these socks for a 2 week vacation in Europe and just returned. There was a lot of walking and they were great. I didn't realize that cotton socks were not good until I tried these. Recommended highly.

Personally, I hate to lubricate my feet. I can't stand to run with slimy feet. I've never gotten blisters with these socks. The only drawback is that they are pretty expensive, but it's worth it not to have blisters.
