Makes keeping an entire collection of copper and brass a snap, even things with a 50 year old salt air patina. Prevents tarnish from recurring. I only clean it all once a year with no elbow grease. Very highly recommend.

Wright's Copper Cream,

I have an extensive collection of decorative copper and brass, along with copper clad pans. I have tried all available copper and brass cleaners, and none have done a job nearly as fast and thorough as Wright's. I panic if I don't have a back up supply...I've been using it for years. It's the best by far!

Best stuff on the planet to erase tarnish!,

We have copper sinks in our bathrooms and while they don't allow germs to grow, they look filthy after two days of use. Wright's Copper Cream can be wiped on with a sponge, rubbed around and rinsed; no scrubbing needed! Once dry, the tarnish and water spots are gone!

Works as advertised. We have a huge copper back splash 6'x 8' behind our stove and the cream works well cleaning it.

The copper cleaner that you're hoping to find,

I needed to clean some pure copper sheet metal, and had no prior experience with copper cleaners. First I tried the two products that I could purchase locally: Brasso (the regular kind) and TarnX. The Brasso (doesn't say what's in it, but claims to clean copper) is a mildly abrasive cream, and turned the copper into a horrible mess. After a few moments of rubbing, it turned into a black streaky mess that was impossible to rub completely off no matter how hard I tried. Then I tried the TarnX, which removed only a portion of the Brasso mess, and turned that area, as well as areas that I hadn't applied Brasso to, into an even streaker, blotchy mess that no amount of additional application of TarnX or rubbing would remove. At this point my copper looked ruined. Then I obtained a jar of Wright's Copper Cream based upon the views here on Amazon, and it cleaned all of the mess left by the other two products away, as well as every trace of tarnish and stain on the entire surface, and left the copper bright and spotlessly clean. The Wright's has a creamy white texture (it says that it is amonia based) that seems to have only a hint of the finest abrasive in it, and was trivial to rub on and cleaned the copper with only about 15 seconds of easy rubbing (and a quick wipe afterwards with a damp sponge and dry cloth). The Wright's left no swirl marks on the copper. After this experience, I would highly recommend the Wright's product for anyone wanting to quickly and very easily clean copper to "like new".I should also mention that although the Brasso left a horrible mess that I could not remove except through application of the Wright's cleaner, the area that I rubbed with the Brasso was burnished to a deeper shine than the areas that had only the Wright's applied. Therefore, if you're looking to polish your copper to a bright shine, I would recommend a vigorous rubbing with the Brasso followed with a thorough application of Wright's. However, if you're simply wanting to clean the copper, then my experience demonstrated that the Wright's alone will be more than sufficient.

The only thing better than this product is the Bar Keeper's Friend powder. This cream wipes off all marks from the bottom of my Revere Ware pans-you know the good quality double bottom ones from Illinois-not Indonesia. :)

I've used this product for years and it works exactly like it's supposed to for cleaning the tarnished bottoms of Revere Ware pots and pans. For some reason none of the stores I frequent carry it any longer, so I was thrilled when I discovered that Amazon had it. Good for Amazon!

Works on stainless, too!,

I was ready to buy a new stainless steel sink, as mine was looking terrible!! My plumber friend suggested I first try Wright's Copper Cleaner. I thought it an odd suggestion, but it worked like magic. It saved my sink, which now looks almost new.

The best copper cleaner I've found,

Wright's makes cleaning copper pots a breeze. This is a great product that never scrathes (always make sure your sponge is clean and your pot is already washed.) "Elbow grease" is not necessary either, as long as you don't wait too long between treatments. You can clean a copper pot in a minute or two.I collect antique copper, as well as cook with copper pans--both tin-lined and stainless steel-lined. I clean all of it with this product. I do not hesitate to use Wright's on my copper investments.

I've used this product for years but is hard to find in my area. They also make a silver one which works just as well. I like it because if you add a little water to the sponge the cream can into hard to reach areas. I buy 2 at a time to stock up.
