This book contains a lot of good practical information. However, all the good advice is overshadowed by the obvious sales pitch to buy his expensive skin care products. Just for fun, I calculated up what I would have to spend each month to participate in the 5-Week program that Dr. Murad suggests. If I used everything the good doctor recommends (excluding the products listed as optional) I would have to spend around $500 a month. Here's the breakdown for my skin type (normal/combination). Murad Refreshing Cleanser $26, Murad Hydrating Toner $20, Murad Essential-C Daily Renewal Complex $82, Murad Skin Protecting Lotion $30, Murad Oil-Free Sunblock $22, Murad Pomphenol Sunguard Supplement 30 Day Supply $35, Muad Youth Builder Collagen Suppliment 30 Day Supply $45, Murad Daily Renewal Complex Antioxidant Supplement 30 Day Supply (I couldn't find this on his website so I substituted Shaklee Vita-Lea @ $22.95), Coenzyme Q10 Suppliment $32.95, Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser $29, Murad Vitamin C Infusion System (4-Week Supply) $60. Total: $497.90

This is basically a commercial pitch for Dr. Murad's spas and products. Unless you are planning on buying his regime, he gives very, very scant information about how you could accomplish the program using other, less expensive products.
Don't expect an easy how-to giving you day by day advice of supplements and skin care. It's not here. I decided to buy this based on other's good reviews. Now I'm thinking that they were written by employees. I was very disappointed.

There is a lot of useful information in this book; unfortunately, Dr. Murad promotes HIS products at the expense of others. That said, this book was written by Dr. Murad and is "The Murad Method" for ageless skin. I am sure the folks who sell his line find this book helpful to those purchasing his products.

I've tried all products and programs, but this is the first time I have seen reaults in my skin and I felt better. Taking the vitamin pills that Dr. Murad suggests along with the creams he lists has cleared my brown spots and smoothed my skin. I have used Murad products for 2 months now as my facialist suggested and since reading this book, I have added the vitamins and the results in only 2 weeks are amazing! This is the BEST program for keeping the plastic surgeon away!!!

I think buying Dr.Murad's book is wast of money and time.I was expecting some solution to the wrinkles by buying the book. But is only a catalogue to Murad's products he sell.You have to a buy a chain of products mentioned in the book.

I'm a skincare junkie. I've read every book and tried every product. Dr. Murad's philosophy really makes sense. It made sense in theory when I read the book, but the proof is in the pudding. I went on his 5-week program, and I couldn't believe the results. I actually had a stranger in the line at the grocery store compliment my skin. That's NEVER happened before.

This book was such a pleasure to read! I learned things that I would have never imagined learning. Who knew that it doesn't matter how much water you drink because you can only retain so much? For years we've been told that this is the answer. Well, it turns out that you have to hydrate your cells from the INSIDE OUT, not the other way around! I was so convinced by Dr. Murad's book that I started taking his supplements and using some of the products he recommends. The response has been unbelievable. People who haven't seen me in a little while along with people who see me everyday are asking what I'm doing to differently because my skin looks so great. It's more hydrated, the fine lines and wrinkles that I once had are plumping up again and I'm not suffering from the ocassional breakout that I used to get. I'm going to tell anyone who will listen to go out and buy this book becuase they will NOT be disappointed with the results.

This book exhaustivly covers all of the external and internal causes of aging, as well as how you can prevent them. It is written from a medical as well as a cosmetic perspective. A great tool for anyone interested in anti-aging or overall health.

I think some professionals like to tell you the way their products work in a roundabout way and promote them on other pages. That is my impression of this book.
I won't be keeping it.

My mother and my husband noticed an improvement only a few days after I started using the Murad Night Reform Treatment. They said I looked younger - they're right. Really, my skin has never looked healthier. Of everything I have learned about skin care over the years, this is the only thing that makes sense - and it helps that the book is an easy read - not too technical, even though it was written by a doctor. (I read the hardcover version of this book called Murad Method.)
