This review is from: WristWand Stretching Device - One - Random Color (Misc.)
I've had tendonitis for a while now, mostly from typing and mousing too much, and over the last few years have tried various things to help: ergonomic/physical therapy exercises, pain relief products, rest, ice, a brace, changing the placement and kind of mouse I use, and reducing typing by using voice recognition software. But, I still suffered from pain sometimes. Then I bought a WristWand, and amazingly, using the WristWand does help. I just follow the simple instructions, and am careful not to overdo it. Shortly after I started using it, the pain started going away. At first I used it several times a week; I've had my WristWand for several months, and now I just use it on occasion, if I feel the pain coming back. I also bought one for my brother, and my boyfriend has one, too -- my boyfriend, who's a guitarist, gave me the idea in the first place. He learned about it from another musician who uses one; my boyfriend says it has helped him, and improved his playing. I think it's worth a try if you're suffering like I was.

Can't explain why but this thing helped me I think. I am a massage therapist. I don't even use it regularly. I just fiddled with it when I first got it and then my wrist started feeling better. Maybe the twisting gave me an adjustment. I intuitively gripped it and pulled my hands away from each other and contorted. I thought, "but it's just a stick" and I tried the same thing at Home Depot with a paint roller extension (stick) but without the rubberized grips it didn't do the same thing. Hey, it's cheap and I like it even though I haven't even investigated all of it's uses. I'm sure since it is near my bed, I could defend myself with it in a pinch. F.Y.I. chronic wrist pain for 1 1/2 years was drastically reduced with a simple calcium, magnesium and D supplement in just 5 days!
