4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Vanessa L. Strickland on November 20, 2012
First of all, this is a great collection that's been put together. The book separates the plays according to age-appropriateness, as the plays in here range from innocent to intense subject matter. Second, I'll touch upon just a couple of the standouts of the many great plays in this book:

- Paul McCoyer shows a great knack for comedic dialogue and timing in "Money, Money, Money." Through the humor, we side with the characters and at the same time see the irony in their plight.
- "Changing Tides: Judge Me Gently" by Amber Faith Walton is a wonderful reflective story on opinions of homosexuality and homophobia. The tension between her characters is real and her language is at once direct and intense, then blends seamlessly into poetry.

Lastly, what's most exciting about all of the plays in the collection is that they were all written by grade-school students. Just the range of subject matter of these plays is incredible. If these are the ideas floating around in the heads of today's youth, then I'm really excited about the future of playwrighting!

The play was amazing and now the story in my eyes while reading touched my soul. As a homosexual I truly am touched that a heterosexual stepped into the eyes of a homosexual and wrote a story. I was startled at the end by what actually was discovered. This is a compelling story that should be discussed in secondary schools and universities. I am astounded. I thirst for more stories by this author. I am now a complete fan. Thank you for your writing.
