This a succinct and well written guide book for persons interested in getting their words out in a fashion likely to grab their readers' interest. Good examples are given for each of Chiwah's suggestions. She obviously has a lot of experience with helping novice writers make their writing more appealing to readers.

Write the Lead out gives good writing advice to help keep excess words and complexity out of your writing. The tips will help you avoid common word traps and pitfalls that can creep into your writing. It is a good basic introduction to minding your Ps and Qs, so to speak.

This is a good first work. The goal of any article, report or book should be focused on the reader experience, especially in this over-stimulated era. This report will help you keep this in mind as you edit your work.

The tips are all excellent for anyone with some familiarity with "writer speak." There is a term or two that might trip up some people, but you will definitely get the gist.

Since the author is reaching out to attract non-writers, it would be good to keep in mind that most people haven't dealt with grammar since elementary school and would probably like to keep it that way.

Everyone (myself included) tends to have certain habits in writing just as in speaking. Write the Lead Out will no doubt bring some of your own pesky tendencies into your awareness. That gives you the power to be more clear and concise.

Anytime you are aware of a tendency or habit, you have the power to change for the better. Being aware as you edit your writing lets your true voice shine through your words.

This book makes reading about grammar and writing fun! And it never seemed so easy to write in a natural way and still be sure it was reader-friendly. What a great gift to those of us who write for business as well as pleasure (communicating with our friends). It's a joy to read! Thank you for that.
