About the Author
Mrs. Alvera Mickelsen received her academic training in journalism at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She has been a practicing journalist for years, with a particular concern for foreign missions. She has taught journalism at Wheaton College and Bethel College, St. Paul.
Mrs. Mickelsen is now retired.
