About the Author

Marian Bond, over the past 35 years has written for over 100 magazines and newspapers as a journalist. Her photographs have often accompanied her stories, and appeared on many covers, often as cover art. She started her career as a reporter for the Modesto Bee , in Modesto, California. At the time she had little experience and had attended just one college class on writing. When the family moved to Los Angeles in 1971, Marian found many opportunities to pursue her newly found love and appreciation for writing, interviewing, and representing and producing material for a variety of publications. After 30 years in Southern California, and eventually writing as a freelancer for ten years for the Los Angeles Times, she and her husband Bob moved to Reno, Nevada, where she continues to write for the Reno Gazette Journal, and other publishers around the nation. Most Helpful Customer Reviews

This book is an inspiration to those of us who want to start their own business or those who are already struggling with one. Its a life story of one woman's determination to succeed. She has her share of failures as well as success. But, she never gives up no matter how small or big the setbacks are. A Positive attitude does payoff, this book makes us rethink our goals with determination. A good read for the times.
