The book is less than 3mm thick, it has 44 pages (many with less than 10 words on it) and it's double spaced in size 14 font.
It contains 9 sample, subject specific templates (Sports Event, Physical Fitness, Special Offer, New Book, Company Wins Award, Direct Mail Seminar, New Service, Entertainment, Pets), all of which are in the region of 3 paragraphs long. It also has less than one page of free press release services.
I bought this to help me navigate myself through the important, but tricky, work of press releases. As it is I could have written this book in an hour myself. Which is about as much time as he clearly spent on it.

I agree with the other reviewer that this book has an insulting amount of (no) content. This 44-page book is filled with repetitive not-so-useful examples and not very helpful contents. Potential readers can find better information by searching the Internet for 10 mins.

This is a quick but quite informative guide on the basics of writing a press release. It is written for people who have no experience writing a press release and just need some guidance on the basics. Headlines, summary, lead, body boilerplate, contact info, as well as a bunch of sample press releases.
The book gets right to the point and doesn't bother with any filler. Recommended to anyone out there writing a press release who does not know the format well at all.
