I absolutely love this. It has a wonderful feel in your hand, smooth and heavy and well-balanced. Not too small for a man's hand, either.

The lens appears to be of good quality with no distortions. Comes with a "velvet" bag for storage so it doesn't get scratched, but you may wish to leave it out on your desk all the time. Do a search to see it in other colors; the picture of the red version looks even prettier, but blue is the right color for my home.

Consider this as a gift for any relative who finds that reading glasses sometimes just don't get the job done. The price is higher than a plain magnifier from a big-box store, but the ornamentation and quality of the glass make it worth it.

Very nice item, but I expected some indication of the magnification power? Obviously this thing is intended as a desk ornament.

I gave this as a gift and the person who received it loves it. It appears to be well made (and somewhat heavy) and the optical quality is very good. It is an exceptional value. The rhinestones at the base of between the handle and the glass are not to my taste, but to each his own. The handle itself is beautiful and the outside rim of the glass has nice decoration. I took off a star because there was a spot of glue or fixative on the outside of the rim that marred the decoration.

It is so beautiful, almost like a piece of art. Usable, and affordable, I keep it on my coffee table, near where I read the paper, etc.

I bought this for my 19 year old daughter. She was very happy. She loved the details on the metal part and the glass handle was beautiful.

Does the job just fine - really a very elegant, beautiful item though somewhat heavy and definitely not for children. I am contemplating getting the blue one as well - one upstairs - one down!

I ordered this glass handled magnifying glass as a gift for my wife who collects glass pens of all kinds, magnifying glasses (glass handled), inkwells, etc. This item by far exceeded my expectations. For one thing it's larger than I thought. And the glass handle is just beautiful. Plus the price was very reasonable and delivery was excellent.

I knew that this item was top quality and it was a perfect thing for me to have, so I ordered it without even thinking.. I was very excited when it got here, until I opened it and the handle was broken off of the lens! I did not feel like going through the trouble of returning it and getting another, so I got out my handy dandy super glue and managed to fix it up, but I wish I did not have to. I love this product, but I just hope they are more cautious when it comes to packaging!

I was pleased with the quality of the magnifying glass. I ordered it for my mother who is 92 and her eyesight is failing. Other than the fact that it is a little heavy to hold for very long, it met and exceeded my expectations.

The magnifying glass is as beautiful as it looks online. However, mine arrived with the handle broken from the glass. I contacted Fitz & Floyd, whose rep promised me a replacement, but it never arrived. It's a shame.
