About the Author

Ina Albert, APR, APRP, has been a healthcare communications administrator and consultant for acute care, community and psychiatric hospitals, experiential therapists, alternative practices, nursing homes, and behavioral health organizations. She developed and facilitated workshops for healthcare providers, clinical staff, business groups and individuals in vision management and interpersonal communication skills. More recently, she has been leading Life Transition and Vital Aging workshops for older adults. Ms. Albert is a certified seminar leader for Spiritual Eldering Institute in Boulder, CO, and for Private Paths, Common Ground, a life transitions workshop created through Midway Center for Creative Imagination in Washington, DC. In addition to her work in healthcare communications, she has directed healthcare marketing and public relations programs and has written numerous articles on healthcare communications, patient relations and alternative medicine for major health care publications including Conscious Choice and Strategic Healthcare Marketing Newsletter. Ms. Albert also has published several short stories in Chicago Parent Magazine and Hudson Valley Magazine. A graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, she has completed graduate studies in Foundations of Holistic Health at De Paul University in Chicago.

Zoe Keithley, MATW, is also a Master Teacher of the renowned Story Workshop® approach to writing at Columbia College, and the Story Workshop® Institute, both in Chicago. She served as writing workshop director and archivist for the Tell Your Story Project for the City of Chicago. Her training in the Story Workshop® approach and over twenty years as a tutor and teacher, as a writer of prose and poetry give her a deep foundation that is theoretical, experiential and practical. As a writing specialist for fourteen years for the Chicago Teachers’ Center, she brought the evocative, energizing and dependable principles of her training to teachers and students in Chicago’s public schools, applying them to the needs of that varied population and documenting raised scores. She published break-through research on Voice in the Journal of Basic Writing, and has presented at numerous academic and professional conferences and events. Ms. Keithley is a prize-winning fiction writer and poet. She coaches, teaches, and edits privately through Zoe Keithley Writing Services. She is a graduate of Trinity College, Washington, D.C. and Columbia College, Chicago.

An author, Life Transitions Coach, certified Age-ing to Sage-ing® Seminar leader, and communications professional, Ina shares 76 years of life experience with clients, workshop participants and readers of her monthly column in Montana Woman Magazine. She has published articles in Sacred Journey, BeliefNet, and other Internet and print publications.

Ina has developed a Life Transitions Coaching practice for 50+ adults to help them develop a profound new vision of growing older. She has been a healthcare communications administrator and consultant for a variety of healthcare organizations for over forty years.

Ina has also written for major Internet and health care publications. She has a monthly column in Montana Woman Magazine and published short stories in The Jewish Magazine, Montana Family Magazine, Chicago Parent Magazine and Hudson Valley Magazine.
