excellent buy..........
I admit,that I was a bit cynical on buying this book,but after reading the first three pages not only did I realise that it was an excellent buy,but that the information was practical,useful and easy to follow.Six months later I have got an agent and have come back to amazon to recommend it and to thank them for delivering it so promtly.

Helpful when you're REALLY desperate
This book has a poor style that is no more worth than TV program listings in a local newspaper. It excludes helpful guides through which you could win an agent or an editor, and is certainly not rich in its listings, so don't buy it unless you've contancted a dozen agents and all rejected you, this book might give you alternatice routes to more minor agents.

I use this book constantly and have for several years. I always recommend it to clients who need to educate themselves on the Industry as well.It's simply to best book out there!

It's quite limited. I should have liked it to include French, German, and Italian literary agents, editors and publishers.
