Just finished reading Inspiration & Motivation ... I shouldn't say finished, because I will be re-reading and referring to it often. I highly recommend this pocket-size book for any writer. I normally donate books after I read them but I will keep this one around.

I read Inspiration & Motivation in one sitting. This book is a large collection of quotes. I didn't know this at the time I ordered the book so I was originally disappointed when I opened the book to see mostly quotes. However, after reading a few quotes, it occurred to me that the book was written just for me. As a new writer, I need a lot of inspiration and motivation. I just finished my first novel. During the writing process, I wanted to stop and just threw away my manuscript. It was just to hard to get motivated. I eventually finished the manuscript but I wish I have read this book prior to writing my manuscript. I am sure my manuscript would have been easier to write and more enjoyable too.

I like this booklet because it contains numerous implying notes that dictate the reader to do instead of moping around for his/her next motivation. I also have the companions -Craft & Techniques and Getting Pulblished
