Best little motivation book ever,
By Susan LeGree "Champagne Books" (Fort Pierce, FL) - See all my reviews

Just finished reading Inspiration & Motivation ... I shouldn't say finished, because I will be re-reading and referring to it often. It makes me feel good about what I have written, and anxious to write what I have not as yet written. I will recommend this little gem to all my writer friends. Susan LeGree, Author

I needed inspiration & motivation and this book provided it,

I highly recommend this pocket-size book for any writer. I normally donate books after I read them but I will keep this one around.
I read Inspiration & Motivation in one sitting. This book is a large collection of quotes. I didn't know this at the time I ordered the book so I was originally disappointed when I opened the book to see mostly quotes. However, after reading a few quotes, it occurred to me that the book was written just for me. As a new writer, I need a lot of inspiration and motivation. I just finished my first novel. During the writing process, I wanted to stop and just threw away my manuscript. It was just to hard to get motivated. I eventually finished the manuscript but I wish I have read this book prior to writing my manuscript. I am sure my manuscript would have been easier to write and more enjoyable too. Little bits of inspiration for writers of every kind,
By Jerry Saperstein (Evanston, IL USA) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE)

Writing is a solitary business. Just you and the computer screen or blank paper. Yes, you can get feedback from friends and colleagues - but first you have to write something worth reading and often that is an uphill struggle.
This little book is a compendium of inspirational bits and pieces. They're little fragments of inspiration or how-tos. Almost all are practical: "The harder one works at writing, the more often the muse visits." In other words, keep writing and the ideas will keep flowing. Don't write and dry up. For days when you're feeling down and can't going, even a cliche can be a spur to action: "Sit down. Write a sentence. Now write another sentence. Write as many as you need until the good stuff comes." I should tatoo that one to the inside of my eyelid. Overall, a little book that helps crank the engine of creativity. Nice to keep around.
