Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review

Writer's Guide is a solid guidebook to a still-developing frontier: it is a "market" reference for the electronic publishing industry, though the book's very listings reveal how loosely defined "electronic publishing" still is. Software developers are mixed in with hypertext mavens, alongside the CD-ROM game divisions of production companies like Trimark and Viacom, and the agents section is mostly a potpourri of existing literary representatives dipping their toes into new electronic waters--with the exceptions of some bona fide specialists. Still, it is a good place to start. Oddly, though, no e-mail addresses are given in the contact information, which is strange indeed considering the medium.
