Dialogue Made Easy,
This review is from: Writing A Great Script Fast: Part 17 Dialogue & Monologues (Amazon Instant Video)
If you have ever felt you needed help with realistic dialogue, then this class will teach you everything you need to know. This covers how to use speech patterns like avoidance and interruptions and tangents. These elements make your dialogue have a more authentic rhythm, cadence and "Pop". Did you know there were 5 types of monologues? Sheridan breaks down monologues so we can see their various uses. All of these types are used in Pulp Fiction? Sheridan tells you to watch the movie and study how the monologues are different. After seeing the clear types, it is easier to replicate them. The DVD also demonstrates how to use monologues to save money shooting scenes. If you are doing the film yourself with a tight budget this is the DVD for you! Liz

Everything You Need To Know About Dialogue In 45 Minutes,

This review is from: Writing A Great Script Fast: Part 17 Dialogue & Monologues (DVD)
This video gives you just what you need to know to write realistic dialogue. How to make your characters talk like REAL people. It also covers the 5 basic types of monologues and how to write them. I went and watched Pulp Fiction after viewing this video (she tells you to) and found that the film did include all 5 types of monologues. I never knew there were 5 types and can now use them better in my writing. It took me a few months to get through all 19 of these videos but now I have a great script! Lots of info on things I never learned in any writing or film class. Special focus on digital film making and animation too. There are samples of this class on YouTube which is how I found out about it.
