The plot points coming up for the feature film can be added to these basic ones too - this way you do not have to think up all of them at once.

When I used this with students in my film making group, they really "got it" when they saw the examples of suspense and pay off. Sheridan is a master at using examples to prove her points-- that plot is symbolically based and can be structured and mapped.
