Book Description

October 15, 2005
There are things you do that tell you exactly who you are, particularly when it comes to your erotic life. Mike Kimera takes an original, unflinching look at the secret desires we all have -- the uncontrollable sexual needs, the surprising (and sometimes funny) turn-ons, our dirty inner-lives that are rarely shown the light of day. Through a lust for large women, soft options, bonds other than leather, 4 a.m. porn downloads, and men who like to be tied up, this book of short stories is a searing revelation of what truly goes on behind closed doors, both within happy marriages, and without.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Mike Kimera invariably dissects the lust that lies at the heart of normal men and women with scalpel-like empathy." --Maxim Jakubowski , Mammoth Books

"A writer of formidable talent and ferocious insight, who shines in writing about real people and real lust." --Lisabet Sarai, writer

About the Author

Mike Kimera was raised as an Irish Catholic living in England. He took a degree in economics as a meal ticket, and a degree in psychology out of sheer self-indulgence. Mike now lives in Switzerland, but his work as a management consultant regularly takes him to Australia, Brazil, and India, as well as the United States. At the age of forty-three, Mike started writing stories about sex and lust and the things that they do to us, and five years later he’s still at it.

Mr. Kimera is my favorite writer of erotica. He uses sex..yes..
but he also has substance to his work. I have enjoyed his stories on various sites....and surely enjoyed this one immensely. A great variety !!! Check out the Sex and Laughter
book he has a story in..and it is available on Amazon also.
Treat yourself to Kimera!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent collection, January 11, 2006

This is an excellent collection of short erotic stories - some are funny, some outrageously hot, others very serious. I think I like the serious ones about men and their hidden desires the best, because it's not something you read about in any honest way very often

This review is from: Writing Naked (Paperback)
I bought this book as the first professionally written piece of Erotica I wanted to read. Not that I had not read some before, but all of them came from amateur writers all over the web. Anyway, I read the first story, and honestly, I threw the book away for a few months. "I want to see you doing it", the name of the first story... well, the story sucked, I honestly think almost anyone doing it seriusly would write a better story. Then, a bit later and with my nightstand empty but for this book, I gave it a second chance.... and honestly, I don't regret it. A few of the stories are really great, other are on the same leage of the first one, but most of them are someone on the "Good enough or even better" cathegory. Not a masterpiece, but it's worth its price.
