5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book Available, August 22, 2002
By
This review is from: Writing Proposals: Rhetoric for Managing Change (Paperback)
This book is one of the better ones available for business proposals. It IS the best book on the subject for people who work in businesses related to science and technology.

The author's approach is straightforward, without the usual sales mumbo jumbo in other books. I found his strategies for improving the odds of success very effective.

The book is a bit expensive, but after winning a couple multi-million dollar contracts that price seemed very small.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Awesome. Very Usable and Comprehensive, November 24, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Writing Proposals: Rhetoric for Managing Change (Paperback)
Unlike most books about proposal writing, this book really gets down to the nuts and bolts. But it also provides persuasion strategies that really help land the client. The book would work with business or technical applications.

I've read many books on proposals, but this is the only one I would recommend. You won't need another book if you have this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tool!, September 12, 2007
This review is from: Writing Proposals: Rhetoric for Managing Change (Paperback)
While studying from this textbook I learned how to develop a winning proposal that applies to real world businees needs. The end of chapter "scenario development" story line really helped to convey how the process of writing a proposal takes place. Great Book, Great Read, and a Must Buy.
