Editorial Reviews

Review

“I'm particularly impressed with the book's strong emphasis on why journalism matters. I've read many other news writing textbooks and they tend to pay little if no attention to this important question. The book also is a gold mine of great original tips about writing and storytelling. The authors provide plenty of fresh insights helpful not only to students, but working journalists as well.”

- James T. Mulder, reporter, The Syracuse Post-Standard & adjunct professor, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications

This review is from: Writing and Reporting the News as a Story (Paperback)
I am using this book for my news writing class. It is the best book I've ever read for news writing. It tells me not only how to write news and why I should keep news story simple. And it's also easy to understand the content.
