About the Author

Jessica Page Morrell has been writing for most of her life and was first published at fifteen. She is the Writing Expert at iVillage.com, a free-lance editor and coaches clients and students in motivation and technique. As a corporate trainer she's taught clients such as Intel, Norpak, and LSI Logic. Ms Morrell has taught writing and creativity classes in the Portland, Oregon area since 1991.She is also the recipiant of the Oregon Literary Arts Writers in the School Fellowship.

Writing Out the Storm is funny, smart, and inspirational--like Jessica herself. There's no "authorial distance" here. She's tapping us on the shoulder and saying, "Try This."

Excellent, no-nonsense advice. All writers should read this book. Morrell's teachings can save you from losing heart, and your manuscript from losing ground. Not only does the author help writers begin their stories, she shows them the route to finishing it!
