5.0 out of 5 stars thank you Sharon Pywell!
This book was very helpfull to me. My grades have drastically improved since reading this. It is written in a clear and consice format for writers of any age to understand. Just like the author said, this book is "clear, consise, economical, and concrete." I would give this book five stahs, no wait! six stahs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Groovy!!!, July 26, 2003
This review is from: Writing That Works (Paperback)
I have to agree with Bob on this one. This is an excellent book for any highschooler having the least bit of trouble on writing. The reader from Pensylvania that said that this book wouldn't be useful to anyone who has graduated high school missed a point. This book wasn't aimed for kids above High school! But it has a great effect on people still in high school. The author has brought my paper grades up from B's to A's. I recommend this book to anybody, as this is a phenomenal way to improve one's writing skills.
Sincerely,
Gertrude

This is the best book ever. After reading this people will be saying "MLA who?" I go to Columbia and I was getting D--/F++ on most of my papers. Then I found this book and I followed everything it said and afterwards I got an A-!!! If you read this book you can get amazing grades too. Anybody who doesn't give this book five stars or as another reviewer excellently puts it "five-stahs!" is probably jealous that they never found this book before. This book is so good the author should win the noble prize. it is the epitemy of writing and clarity and should be preserved as the most amazing guide to writing in the history of the English language.
