Lori Perri is absolutely superb! This CD is superlative. I have been hip to her for many years, eagerly awaiting her to fully flower as a solo super talent. Well, flower she certainly has. Everyone who hears this CD immediately gets online and purchases it because Lori Perri is truly great. Get it and you'll be glad you did.

Years of session work and touring as a background vocalist certainly paid off with this effort from Lori Perry. How can one go wrong with Lori's unique phrasing and interpretation coupled with George Duke's accompaniment? This is GoJazz at its best.

I heard a cut on the Gospel Radio station and I knew that I needed to have this CD. I purchased the CD for one song and end up loving the entire CD. The only thing that I can really say is to buy it and see for yourself. FANTASTIC...................

I SAW THIS GROUP DURING THE EARLY 80'S SINGING BACKUP FOR ANITA BAKER. DIDN'T LORI ALSO SING THE THEME SONG FOR THE LIFETIMETV HIT SHOW "ANY DAY NOW"? AWESOME VOCALS!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!?????? THANK GOD YOU HAVE BEEN RAISED UP FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!!!!

More jazz than gospel; a great listen; most of the project is a mellow groove that you can merrily leave in the CD and let it play!

Lori has an unmistakably distinctive voice and sound -- she does her own backup vocals that completely rounds out her sound and successfully demonstrates her vocal prowess without going over the top.

If you like jazz vocalists, you should like this outing from Lori. Keep it up Lori, been waiting a LOOOONG time for a project from ANY Perry sister -- glad that it was you!

WOW,WOW,WOW!!! I have been a fan of the group PERRI since the CELEBRATE album. I am so glad to hear the voice of Lori Perry in front again.This CD is a must have for anyone who loves good,real music.The title track is just wonderful but my favorite track is WHEN IT'S DONE.The song is just so smooth, you just sit back and remember all of the good times in your life.Other good cuts are KINGDOM,I'LL FOLLOW YOU,MAJESTY REIGNS,and the haunting NINE ELEVEN.I first saw Lori Perry on a gospel show on tv one with Jeff Majors.I did'nt even know that she had a project out. I have been trying to get all of the PERRI CD'S but their hard to find and so was this cd.I looked in every store and no one had it.Im glad that Lori Perry has found God and I say welcome to life my sister.She sang a song called NO PLACE TO GO, well now she has a place in my music cabinet and in the kingdom of God!Every one should go out and make your music stores get this project because if you like ANITA BAKER, you will love LORI PERRY!Great job!!!

I heard "I Found It In You" on the radio in during my annual Christmas vacation in Atlanta, Georgia. After hearing this song, I went to about 3 stores to purchase it. None of these stores had the CD. When I returned to Los Angeles, CA I searched the web and found that the CD was available for sale on the web. I ordered the CD and received it yesterday. Not only is the single that is being played in Atlanta "off the hook", the whole project is just a joy to my soul. I'm an Ordain Minister who loves smooth jazz, r&b and contemporary gospel music. I'm also a big Anita Baker fan. This project has it all. The singing is passionate and just pulls you in. The musicianship displayed on this project is excellent, and the songs are incredible. I've already shared this project with friends. Do yourself a favor and add this one to your collection.

LORI TRYING TO DO BACKING VOCAL PARTS LIKE THE SOUND THAT USED TO HAPPEN WHEN ALL THE SISTERS SANG.....SOMEHOW IT DOSNT CUT IT WHY NOT JUST HAVE YOUR SISTERS WITH YOU ALL SHARING IN THE SPIRIT OF THIS GLORIOUS MUSIC.....BRING BACK PERRI LORI AND SING THE PRAISES TOGETHER......AS ONLY SISTERS CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lori Perry `wrote this song` is truely touching .. it gets to you straight to your heart if you got one -lori doesn't sing a song .. she lives them .. Lori Perry gives us as listener the chance to have a glimpse through a little window -straight into heaven -purely -heartfelt -genuine- soulfull - devine -grooving -uplifting -everlasting - she takes you on another level - into another world - you start a mind cruise - through time , space & emotions -
