There are some good fight scenes and a good story in this one along with widescreen and 5.1,but it shoots itself in the foot with that way over the top asian film humor,dont get me wrong I like alot of the comedy/Kung Fu films just not this one becouse they go to far not taking the film itself serious.If you want some funny Fu get "drunken master"the new or old one there both great or Snake in the eagles shadow.I cannot recommend Shaolin Drunkard.

This is an early example of director Yuen Woo Ping's work. The video quality is superb(widescreen),although I would recommend getting the DVD for an additional 5 dollars.It is LOADED with extra features that the VHS doesn't have.

all i have to say is this is the movie that hooked me on kung fu... and ive never seen a better one. the flaming hand fight scene, the ring fight scenes, GODDAMN this movie is good. also check out the sweeeeet handshake. if you see it email me and tell me what you think of it
