I have not seen this reproduction in person, so I have to wonder how good it could be. I have seen the real thing up close and personal, I can't imagine this reproduction is made anywhere near as well. No company makes things the way they were then, that's for sure. However, if it's a reasonable facsimile, it could be well worth the money they want for it. Restored originals bring way more money than what they want for this, so if you want one, and don't want to pay upwards of thirty, maybe fort five thousand, this will be the way to go. These are infinitely more usable in todays's world, that's for sure. Frankly though, I can't see buying something like this without seeing and hearing it first. Shipping alone won't be cheap, (nor should it be) it's not something you can slip into the mailbox for a return. I don't know this company, they're probably great, but that kind of money, on something that must please both the eye and the ear, well some people might be willing to take that kind of a chance, I wouldn't. I can tell you this, the price is right in the ball park, for a reproduction, that is. Way less than the cost of restoring one, let alone finding the original and purchasing it. Long and short of it, it's probably worth the trouble to go look at it first. This model may not be the exact one you want, there are others.
