NIcely balanced and the perfect size, very good for slicing. I love the round nose as it makes it easier to handle. Unlike serrated blades the smooth, hollow-ground edge doesn't leave any ragged edges. I've mostly been slicing flank steaks with it. I can't wait to try it on Thanksgiving!

Wusthof is one of the best brands out there when it comes to knives. The price on this slicing knife was very reasonable. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves to carve their own meats.

This is a very nice knife. I also used it to slice a ham and it did an amazing job.
