About the Author

Nineteenth-century writer Emily Bronte wrote only one novel in her short lifetime--but it was the tragic tour de force Wuthering Heights, a work of such power and force that it endures to this day. As far as we know, she died a virgin. Here's hoping that she got laid in heaven.

Annabella Bloom is the pseudonym of Beth Williamson, author of A Stranger's Secrets, a multipublished, award-winning author known mostly for her historical and contemporary romance. She writes steamy cowboy romances--"Read a book, ride a cowboy!"--under her own name as well as the pseudonym Emma Lang. She was named a 2009 Career Achievement Award Nominee by Romantic Times magazine. Her website is www.bethwilliamson.com.

This is essentially a fanfiction, though the author is being paid instead of just publishing themselves on the internet. I am not a purist, but I do prefer that the author or screenwriter follow the plot of the novel, unless it an AU, which of course, all bets are off.

That being said, I really enjoyed it. I heard the voice of the characters as Emily Bronte created them to be, but the sexual relations between the characters went from innuendo to real without being predictable or corny. Lets face it, there is crackling sexual chemistry between Cathy and Heathcliff, its just below the surface you know where to look.

I did enjoy the novel and I look forward to what she may do if she ever does a wanton and wild edition of Jane Eyre.

I had always loved Wuthering Heights, and was delighted at this sexy updating. The author has added in new scenes to the original story that goes behind closed doors and allows the characters to have the richly sensual and erotic lives they were obviously always capable of. It's still dark and brooding, but also deliciously decadent and completely unexpected! It's a walk on the dark and sexy side! I love Ms. Bloom's additions to this classic!

Seems a great idea for a book, unfortunately, the print is too small to read. This has happened with several books I've received from Amazon. It should be in the description, or in reviews like this.
