5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Protection
I used this when I took archery in school. It's pretty good. Not only can you use it to protect your arm, but it can also be used to prevent any loose sleeved shirts from getting in the way. It may be small, but it's pretty much all you need. Not only do I recommend it, I insist that you buy it if you are into archery. The bow string can do alot of damage to an...

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, not great though
I will admit that I don't do that much archery, but when I have used this armguard, it feels somewhat flimsy and isn't the most comfortable. So, if you just want a bottom-dollar product that gets the job done but isn't necessarily very comfortable, than this will be fine. I'd suggest it to beginners and people like me who are fickle about hobbies and won't necessarily...

4.0 out of 5 stars Strong but slim armguard, March 28, 2007

The arm guard is nicely sewn with leath top and a soft underside for your arm. It does come off as slightly thin, but good for most forearms.

Considering that this is 12 bucks and that the cool "real" leather ones with nice straps start at around 15 bucks, there is no reason to buy this. It is a little plastic toy armguard with awkward squares of velcro. For 3 dollars more you can get a real one that won't look silly on a grown up. This should be called a "youth" armguard.
