Bill Heid strikes again,

I've decided we should put a Bill Heid recording into a time capsule or a space probe so that we can imagine future listeners' heads blowing up or perhaps engaging in bewildered frenzied coupling. As good or better than his classic and sought after recordings, "This Is My Rifle" and "Bop Rascal," this new bag of funky tricks has got a tasty treat for every mood. All good solid Heid compositions and even another of Bill's autobiographical blues vocals. Worth repeated listening. I have been. Its got grooves, surprises, laughs, and great exhilarating lines from all the players. Nobody alive plays like Bill, and the ubiquitous Peter Bernstein has chops that mesh with Bill's like oil and vinegar, Mutt and Jeff, Burns and Allen, beer and peanuts... you get it. So get it, you need it.
